YoungCanLit Who's Who: Illustrators R-Z, List III

Here's my final list of Canadian illustrators of children's books.  With today's ten names, that makes a total of 150 illustrators over nine posts, three in 2013, three in 2015 and the current List III. I hope you can appreciate the diversity and skill of art enhancing children's books today and over time and with so much of it from Canadians, those who were born here or chose to live here.  It's extraordinary, as are their contributions to youngCanLit and international stories.  👏👏👏

Even more youngCanLit Illustrators to celebrate: LIST III

In 2013 and 2015,  I prepared lists of Canadian illustrators whose artwork featured prominently in youngCanLit.  Guess what?  I covered over 100 artists and I've still omitted key illustrators whose work graces Canadian children's books.  Some of them are very new to children's book illustration, with only one or two books to their publishing credit, and others are respected artists whose work has enhanced picture books for decades.  This is my way of acknowledging all their efforts.  Even though I know I'll be updating this list in another 2 years, undoubtedly having missed some and uncovering new ones, I hope this helps complete my ever-growing Who's Who of Canadian illustrators.
