Art in youngCanLit: Book List

It's been almost 350 years since the first public art exhibition took place. On April 9 in the year 1667,  members of the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture contributed to a show at the Palais Royal in Paris.  Since then (and probably before), artwork has served civilization by, as Pablo Picasso acknowledged, "washing the dust of daily life off our souls." To that end, I offer up this book list of youngCanLit and films that relates to famous art and artists and making art.
