Happy New Year, youngCanLit Readers!
The turning of the calendar pages, virtual or paper, is inevitable, just as is the release of new youngCanLit. There are so many key books that I'm looking forward to reading, including Underground Soldier by Marsha Skrypuch, the sequel to her Silver Birch award-winning book Making Bombs for Hitler; The Boundless by Ken Oppel, a first in a new series; Moon at Nine by Deb Ellis, always sure to be thoughtful; The Worlds We Make by Megan Crewe, Book 3 in her Fallen World series; Arrows through the Axes, newest book in Patrick Bowman's Odyssey of a Slave series; Zomboy by Richard Scrimger which has been so long in coming; The Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires; From There to Here by Laurel Croza and Matt James, follow-up book to their award-winning picture book, I Know Here; and Glory by Maureen McGowan, sequel to Deviants and Compliance. And that's only the tip of my TBR pile. I hope that you find some gems here as well.

My choices of book covers to display was random, although I tried not to include those displayed in previous new releases posts here (yes, some books are scheduled over and over again and still haven't been published) and some covers have not been finalized yet. But, hopefully these few graphics will give you an idea of the variety of titles to which readers of youngCanLit can look forward.
Thanks so much for posting this, Helen. Looking forward to seeing these new titles!
